The Race 2 is wrapped! I hope you enjoyed this action-packed and emotional second season. It was our pleasure to create this series, and I would personally like to thank each and every one of you, the viewers, for making The Race 2 such a success!
The Race and The Race 2 have been watched by thousands of online fans, and have been discussed on message forums all over the web. Not only was The Race 2 ICTV.org's most-viewed show ever, but we have also gotten quite a bit of recognition for our work. Last week, The Race 2 won the College Broadcaster's Institute Award for Best Special Broadcast at the national CBI conference in Washington D.C. On top of this, The Race has also won two 2007 PEGASYS awards (Best Documentary Series, Best Educational Access), and was named ICTV's Best Show and Best New Show at the Just Desserts awards this spring. Additionally, we are in communication with OSTN, the Open Student Television Network, about broadcasting The Race to college campuses nationwide.
